Women’s football: Aminata Diallo bounces back in Levante

The footballer Aminata Diallo will finally find the grounds. Without a club since the end of his contract with PSG at the end of last season, the midfielder signed for the Spanish club Levante, second in the women’s Liga behind Barcelona. The former Parisian should stay six months in Spain with an option year.

For Aminata Diallo, it’s a new start after a year that has been eventful on the judicial level. Present during the attack on Kheira Hamraoui on November 4, 2021, the 27-year-old young woman was taken into police custody before being released without charge. Ten months later, the native of Grenoble is again placed in police custody and then indicted. After five days spent in the remand center of Versailles, she was released under judicial supervision.

For fifteen days, Aminata Diallo can again leave the territory, which allowed her to sign a contract abroad.

At the same time, the new Levante player was in conflict with PSG, which she accuses of “failures at the origin of the non-extension of the contract”. A judgment condemned by Angelo Castellazi, the sports director of the women’s section.

For Aminata Diallo, Spain will not be a discovery since she had already played a few months at Atletico Madrid in 2021 after a loan from PSG. On this occasion, she had also won a Spanish Cup.
