Thierry Henry back on a bench? According to Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku, there is no doubt. Indeed, the Belgian international has claimed that the former Arsenal star will be Belgium’s next coach.
“For me, Henry is the next coach of Belgium. There is no doubt. I say it openly: he will be the next coach. He has the respect of all the players, he has won everything. He knows how to coach, he knows what we have to do to get there. He knows the team, the league, the staff. For me, he is the ideal coach for our national team.” Lukaku told Sky Sport Italia.
As a reminder, Thierry Henry had been Roberto Martinez’s assistant at the Red Devils since 2020, before the latter resigned after the elimination of Belgium at the World Cup in Qatar.
