Hanoi

Marc Klok looks angry in the Vietnam vs Indonesia match. The Garuda team midfielder was recorded as not wanting to shake defender Doan Van Hau’s hand.

The hot match was presented in the second leg of the 2022 AFF Cup semifinal at the My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, Monday (9/1/2023). Vietnam beat Indonesia 2-0 in that match, through two goals from Nguyen Tien Linh.

Throughout the match, there was heat tension. The spotlight was on Doan Van Hau, the Vietnam defender, who was previously labeled as having played dirty in the first leg at Gelora Bung Karno.

In Vietnam, Doan Van Hau’s actions are still in the spotlight. Several times the 23-year-old player made serious fouls, one of which resulted in a yellow card.

Doan Van Hau was also involved in an incident with Marc Klok. In the second half, the Indonesian midfielder was seen falling when he was close to the Vietnamese defender in the penalty box.

However, the referee Araki Yusuke did not consider it a violation. In replays, it was seen that there was no significant movement from Doan Van Hau in this situation.

A moment later went viral, when Marc Klok was recorded as annoyed with Doan Van Hau. When the Vietnamese defender asked to shake hands in the middle of the match, Klok was reluctant to do so.

Doan Van Hau himself could only laugh at Marc Klok’s attitude. The People Police FC player also did not continue his intention to shake hands.

Vietnam’s victory over Indonesia itself has passed Park Hang-seo’s troops to the 2022 AFF Cup final. Furthermore, they are just waiting for the winner between Thailand vs Malaysia, which will play tonight.
