Waleska Pérez will play with FSV Rijeka in Croatia

The Venezuelan forward, Waleska Pérez will return to European soil to help FSV Rijeka in the main Croatian league, this being her second experience in the Old Continent, sports media reported.

The last time the member of the national team played outside the country was at the end of 2020 in the Colombian tournament.

Since then, at the club level, she has played in the 2021 South American League with Pastoras de Lara and has won both editions of the Women’s Super League as “MVP” of the Finals on both occasions. The first with Deportivo Anzoátegui, this year with Caribeñas de Caracas.

Internationally, Pérez had a chapter in the second division of Spain (16/17) with Arxil. He played 11 games, in which he averaged 10.1 points, 6.9 rebounds, and 2.5 assists.

This time it will be in the Balkans at the hands of the penultimate team in the Croatian championship standings.
