Volleyball and wheelchair basketball Tsuna GO Wakayama experience meeting
The event “Tsuna GO Wakayama Sports Experience” hosted by the Wakayama Prefectural Board of Education, the World Masters Games 2021 Kansai Organizing Committee, and the World Masters Games 2021 Prefectural Executive Committee will be held from 0:30 to 4:00 pm on February 18th. It will be held at Wakayama Big Wave in Tebira, Wakayama City. Applications are being accepted until the 27th.
The theme is “Feel free! Everyone! Let’s enjoy sports!” You can experience volleyball, wheelchair basketball, kendo, and sports wellness fukiya. Volleyball was taught by Shoichi Yanagimoto, coach of the All Japan women’s volleyball team at the Athens and Beijing Olympics, and wheelchair basketball was taught by Shinji Negi, captain of the Japan men’s wheelchair basketball team at the Sydney Paralympics. Hiroyuki Oishi, a member of the 2012 world championship group champion, and Mari Suenaga, a four-time world champion group champion and second-place individual, serve as instructors for Kendo. There is no membership fee. Advance registration is required for all other than the blowgun.
In addition to the hands-on event, there will also be an exhibition of Olympic gold medals and an InBody measurement event as a sporting event.
