Veracruz baseball player joins the ‘big leagues’ with the Milwaukee Brewers

With tears in his eyes, the 17-year-old pitcher from Veracruz said he was grateful for this opportunity and addressed his family for always supporting him.

The event was presided over by the leaders of the Prospects of the South Academy, Ysrael Rergis and former baseball player Francisco “Franckie” Rivera, while for the Brewers was the scout in Mexico Mario Mendoza, as well as Alfredo Peña sports director of the Copa Veracruz contest.

The signing of Erick Pardo was registered on the first day of international signings of Minor Leagues for this year, said event was held in a renowned restaurant located in the Costa de Oro Fraccionamiento, in the municipality of Boca del Río.
