It just keeps rumbling at Anderlecht. Fábio Silva is reportedly fed up with Brussels and is aiming for an early departure. Wolverhampton, parent club of Silva, is looking at options for a new loan. PSV and Sevilla are already showing interest.

“Whoever thinks this is the low point, it can still go deeper.” The words of the now non-executive chairman, after the resignation of Felice Mazzu, turned out to be prophetic. Fábio Silva, Anderlecht’s top scorer this season, has indicated that he no longer wants to play for the club. The 20-year-old Portuguese was rented out to the Purple & White for one season by the Wolverhampton Wanderers. That loan turn would now be ended prematurely.
Silva has had it all at Anderlecht and would make an unmotivated impression in training for a while. His physical parameters also prove insufficient, which is why Riemer Silva invariably changes. Wolverhampton is negotiating with the club from Eindhoven about a new loan. The Portuguese talent could even be rented out to PSV for a season and a half. The Spanish clubs Seville and Sociedad are also showing interest. Although Anderlecht obviously has an important voice in this matter. There is nothing in the rental agreement about an early departure from Neerpede. If the Purple & White keeps its leg stiff, Silva will just stay in Brussels. If an agreement is nevertheless found, Wolverhampton must in any case pay Anderlecht compensation.
