Temporary operation of Yangju City Corporation’s sports facilities during holidays: Media Today www.mediatoday.asia

[미디어투데이=안상일기자] Yangju City Corporation announced that it would temporarily operate sports facilities in Yangju City in celebration of the Lunar New Year holiday.

Indoor and outdoor sports facilities in Yangju City stopped operating during the existing Lunar New Year holidays, but some facilities (paid) will be operated during this Lunar New Year holiday so that people visiting their hometowns and Yang residents can enjoy daily sports during the holidays.

The operated sports facilities are Baekseok Living Sports Park (located in Baekseok-eup) and Yangju Indoor Gymnasium (located in Samsung-dong). You can use soccer, baseball, and tennis at Baekseok Living Sports Park and badminton and table tennis at Yangju Indoor Gymnasium. Silver Baekseok (08:00~18:00) and Yangju Indoor (09:00~18:00) are available.

During the Lunar New Year holidays, you can visit and use the Yangju Indoor Gymnasium, and you can use the Baekseok Life Sports Park’s sports facilities after making a reservation in advance through the integrated reservation system of the Yangju City Corporation.

Reservation application starts at 1:00 PM on January 17 (Tuesday), and only Yang residents can apply from the 17th to the 18th, and anyone can apply from the 19th to the 24th.

The corporation decided to operate the facility as part of active administration due to high demands from citizens who want to use sports facilities during the existing holiday period, and said that it hopes that citizens will continue their healthy lifestyle sports activities with their families and friends during the holiday season.
