Three podiums for the Loiretans

The Loiret committee organised, this Saturday at the sports complex of La Source, the first junior excellence tournament in Orléans.

430 judokas attended this first edition bringing together, as its name calls it, excellence in juniors. “There are four in France. The judokas come there to score points for the ranking list,” explained Patrick Mery, the department’s technical manager. The competition was therefore particularly fierce.

Faced with opponents from all over France, the Loiretans sold their skin dearly with three podiums. In -78 kg, the Orleans Océane Guede won the competition by beating in the final Fatoumata Cissé (Maisons-Alfort) who had finished third in the Elancourt junior excellence tournament. In the semi-final, she got rid of Océane Petris (Saint-Ouen). Her USO teammate, Albane Guillemot took second place in -44 kg, in a category dominated by Imane Cissé (Chelles).

Among the men, the local Guylan Alleyne (JC Beaugency) was expected. The Balgentien managed a clear round to reach the final against Amine Salah (Nice). Facing second in Aix-en-Provence, Guylan Alleyne failed to gain the upper hand and had to settle for second place.
