HS “Riga” hockey players presented gifts to their head coach Oleg Sorokin on his birthday, defeating “Dinamo” 4:3 away from home. The home team experienced their first troubles in the 36th second of the game, trailing 0:1. The continuation of the game turned out to be quite promising for the Dynamos, fighting back and taking a 3:1 lead in the second period, however, Sorokin’s students regained the balance on the scoreboard at 3:3 within a minute at the end of the same period. Roberts Šķute scored the winning goal for HS “Rīga” in the middle of the third period after a solo raid.
