The Regional Phase of the A2 Italian Cup took place at the Palazzetto of the University Sports Center of Cosenza. Iurie Ravliuc, Athlete of the SGS Fortitudo 1903 of Reggio Calabria who trains at the “Matteo Pellicone” Sports Center, ranked first in the 90 kg weight category. winning two fights by Ippon (knockdown of the opponent on the back). The first fight against Luigi Libonati (Kodokan Judo) and the second against Franco Attinà (Judo Club Paola). Iuri Ravliuc, a student enrolled at the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria in the Faculty of Economics, is a “multi-sport” athlete, practices Judo, Wrestling and Karate, and in this period he is preparing to play the Italian Cup final which will take place at the Palasport of Ostia Lido next February 26, in the month of May, however, will participate in the national university championships in the three disciplines practiced. The president of SGS Fortitudo 1903, Riccardo Partinico, expressed satisfaction with the results obtained by the young Iurie Ravliuc and has already placed him as a technical model of the youth sector of the club.
