PISA – ll Cus Pisa is organizing the Gialloblù team it will represent the University of Pisa ai National University Championships 2023 (CNU) that will take place from 17 to 25 June 2023 in Camerino organized by CUSI (Italian University Sports Center).
How to participate. If you are interested in participating you must be a UNIPI student between 18 and 29 years old and you must send your sports curriculum with a medical certificate for competitive sports activity to the email [email protected] and [email protected]
Interested sports. Men’s basketball, men’s and women’s volleyball, men’s futsal, alpine skiing, track and field athletics. Boxing, Fencing, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, Shooting, Tennis, Table Tennis, Skeet Shooting, Rowing
Optional: Beach Volleyball, Women’s Futsal, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Women’s Basketball, Chess, Archery, Table Football, Indoor Tug of War or Outdoor Shooting.
Dates and first challenges. In the meantime, the first dates have been announced. The adventure of Men’s Volleyball at the CNU will start on February 28th where Cus Pisa will face Cus Torino at home in the first round. In case of victory, the challenge to Cus Genova on March 28, in case of defeat, away to Liguria brought forward to March 14th. Cherubino’s women’s volleyball instead will enter the second round on March 21st again with Cus Torino: in the event of a victory, the away match in Modena Reggio Emilia on April 18th, in the event of a defeat, the away match in Emilia brought forward to April 4th. The men’s futsal adventure will begin with the home match at Cus Parma, a return match in Emilia on 28 March. The winner of this challenge will always face the winner of group 16 between Cus Macerata and Cus Ferrara in the double confrontation to enter the final phase of the best eight university teams in Italy. The departure of Cus Pisa Basket will be postponed to the second round, which will face the winner of group C between Cus Camerino and Cus Perugia at home on April 17th. The double confrontation is scheduled for May 8th
The words of the president. “Also this year we are preparing to experience the National University Championships which will see its final phase from 17 to 25 June in Camerino. Our section managers have been at work for some time and I believe that this year too our athletes will assert themselves as they did last year in Cassino. The CNU are important for us and for our athletes and they are a reason to discuss each other also on the various aspects.
