The CBP Ordoño II León, with its players Andrés Pérez and Pablo García accompanied by the coach Sergio González, traveled to Vigo this weekend to play the first National Master of the season in the under 17 category where a large part of the best players met category nationals.

Andrés Pérez left the best news of the weekend for the Leonese club, since in the sub 17 mixed doubles modality, along with his partner Daniela Corchón (CB Soria), they won the bronze medal.

The couple started as the third favorite and fulfilled the forecasts, carrying out a perfect group stage to sign their pass to the semifinals. Already on Sunday, the semifinals were played where they did not achieve victory in a tight match that was decided by a double 21-17.

In the individual modality, Andrés Pérez did not achieve victory in any of his matches, losing by tight results.

Pablo García, for his part, only participated in the individual category, being his first national competition in the under-17 category. He couldn’t win any of his matches against stronger opponents.
