Sparta washed away the leader from Pardubice, Vítkovice are in the lead. Hradec defeated Liberec in a shootout

In the careful first period, neither Pardubice nor Sparta had any major chances, Konečný broke through to the greatest opportunity to open the score, but his independent action was picked up by Will. The second period was clearly dominated by the Praguers, who created a number of scoring opportunities. Vladimír Sobotka beat the home goalkeeper for the first time in the 24th minute and Sparta took the lead.

The guests continued to have more of the game, but Roman Will kept Dynamo in the game with an excellent performance. The 30-year-old goalkeeper capitulated for the second time only in the last minute of the second 20-minute period, when he took advantage of the German’s power play. All thoughts of a possible turnaround were taken away by the home team in the 46th minute with the third goal by Řepík, Sparta took away a convincing 3:0 win from the ice of Pardubice.

Vítkovice succeeded in Pilsen

After two defeats in which they scored only one goal, Plzeň wanted to surprise the second-placed Vítkovice and managed to keep up with the favorite in the first period. Ridera got the upper hand just before the halfway point of the game, when Dominik Lakatoš scored and scored his sixteenth goal of the season.

The West Bohemians got the equalizer in the 48th minute after Holešinský’s power play. However, Pilsen, decimated by absences, took Mueller and Kotala away from thoughts of any point gain. Thanks to Schleiss’s strike 72 seconds before the end, the home team only managed to reduce the score, but it was not enough for them to lose more than 2:3.

Hradec overpowered Liberec after extra time

The match between eighth-placed Hradec Králové and sixth-placed Liberec started better for the home side, who were sent into the lead in the 12th minute by Canadian striker Lalancette. The Tigers got past Kiviah for the first time shortly after the halfway mark thanks to Rychlovský’s shot. However, Mountfield gained a two-goal advantage before the end of the middle twenty minutes, thanks to the goals of Blaine and Cingel, who scored a second before the second siren. But even that did not break the guests.

Within 46 seconds, Birner and Frolík took care of the equalization. The North Bohemians, however, rejoiced at the tie for only three minutes, when the third Canadian acquisition in the service of the home team McCormack came through and Hradec was in the lead again. However, the dramatic match was far from over, 29 seconds before the end, Frolík scored for the second time and the match went into overtime. Pilař scored an extra point for the home team in the fifth minute of regulation and Hradec was happy with two points for a 5:4 win.
