A heart-stopping final was experienced at the Confederation Gymnasium, within the framework of the Under 15 National Basketball Championship, where San Felipe faced Puerto Varas, defeating the Aconcagüino team from the Los Lagos region, by 64 to 62.
A successful organization, which was happy with how the tournament and the final developed.
“These kids work at a great level, they are all participating in leagues, which we don’t have. All the clubs could be reinforced with the teams they were eliminating, we had no reinforcement, so that makes the competition and the level very good,” said Mauricio Castreje, president of the Punta Arenas Basketball Association.
Finally, San Felipe was the brand new champion team of the tournament, which took the cup to the Aconcagua Valley.
