Rob Gronkowskifour times champion of the Super Bowlhas revealed that he believes being a partier during his career actually made him better at the sport rather than hindering it.
The former player of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was talking to Jimmy Fallon in it Tonight Show about his holiday days that he feels made him a better tight end in the NFL.
In touch with their roots
Gronkowski is a native of Buffalo and he believes that the city played a huge role in his development and helped him become the player he became.
“I had a great time growing up. I’m from Buffalo,” he told her. Gronkowski a Fallon. “The Bills Mafia, they’re following close behind. They’re jumping from RVs onto tables, breaking up. That’s how I grew up.”
It seems like partying with friends all the time made Gronkowski a physically stronger person.
“Well, I’m carrying my friends, you know, all over the bar. I’m holding them! I’m lifting them up. I’m snuggling them! All on my back, I’m jumping up and down! I’m dancing all the time. A little bit like Austin Butler. I’m spinning!” he said she.
The fans are preparing for the match of the Super Bowl LVII that will be played next weekend by the Philadelphia Eagleswho beat the san francisco 49ersand the Kansas City Chiefswho narrowly defeated the Cincinnati Bengals.
“I would say Philly has been playing more as a team all season. I’m going to go with the Eagles,” when asked to make his prediction.
Gronkowski retired from the sport in 2019, but later returned to win the Super Bowl of 2020 with Tom Brady for the Bucs. He then retired for real in June 2022.
