Félix Hernández lived great moments during the 15 years he was part of the Seattle Mariners, including obtaining the Cy Young in 2010 and making a Perfect Game in August 2012, being one of the most dominant pitchers in the Major Leagues in the second decade of this 21st century.

For this reason, the group that lives in the state of Washington announced on Wednesday afternoon that the native of Valencia (Carabobo) will become the eleventh member of the Hall of Fame of said organization on August 12. MLB for his contribution throughout the time he remained in the ranks of the nauta club.

His best campaign was 2010 when he left a global mark of 13 wins and 12 losses with a 2.27 ERA in 34 games and 249.2 innings where they scored 80 runs (63 were earned), gave 70 walks and struck out 232 batters.

He was invited six times to the All-Star Game as a representative of the American League and also added two ERA titles: 2010 and 2014 (2.14).

His last harvest was in 2019 (1-8, 6.49 EFE) and in 2020 he signed with Atlanta but did not play due to the pandemic caused by Covid-19.

The ceremony will be part of the activities within the Orioles series at T-Mobile Park.
