With changes for the new season, Galo Futebol Americana will have major reinforcements and news for 2023. In all, there were nine changes announced by Esquadrão Alvinegro, ranging from new athletes hired to the change of command of the team.
Reinforcements
In the defensive team, the Stutz brothers, who wore the shirt of Vasco Almirantes, were part of the first announcement of the Alvinegra season and arrive to reinforce the dominant defense.
Gabriel Stutz, 23, had spells at Flamengo Imperadores, Rio Football Academy, Vasco Almirantes and the Rio under-20 team (2018). His brother, Guilherme Stutz, 19, had spells at the Rio Football Academy, Flamengo Imperadores, Recife Mariners, Rio Preto Weilers and Vasco Admirals. The duo was champion of Rio de Janeiro by the Rio Football Academy and runner-up in the Southeast Conference of the BFA League by Vasco Almirantes.
The attack team also enters the year with news after the announcement of Marcos Vinícius “Marcão” and Gustavo Brito “Britão”. “Marcão” is an offensive lineman and played for Vila Velha, Tritões and T-Rex. “Britão” arrives with all his strength and agility to help in the offensive blocks of Esquadrão Alvinegro. The player had passages through the Belém Titans and T-Rex teams.

The other changes in Esquadrão Alvinegro are in command of the team: Coach Kinas was promoted to the position of General Manager and Michael Long was announced for the vacancy of Head Coach (main coach) of Galo FA. Long played for Oklahoma State University and has 40 years of experience in the profession. He follows in the footsteps of his father, who played and coached in the NFL, CFL and college football.
Still in the technical area, Hygor Lessa and Brandon Clay were announced. The former will command the team of specialists, while Clay will be the offensive coordinator.
