Promotion of judo competitions with TSV Langeoog | Langeoog Current

The judo division of TSV Langeoog was well represented in the first competition promotion after a two-year corona break in preparation for the upcoming district and district individual championships. The island judoka provided the largest team among a total of 60 judoka in Dunum.

Four hours of training took place on two mats in the Dunumer gym under the direction of Wolfgang Ramm (5th Dan). It was the last time for him. To the regret of many participants, he is resigning from the board of competition funding for personal reasons. Ten other trainers from the Wittmund working group, including the Langeooger division manager Heini Matzies, supported him in Dunum.

“Our Langeooger judoka have learned a lot.” said coach Heini Matzies afterwards. That could be shown on Saturday and Sunday in the belt tests for the 7th kyu (yellow belt). Saturday at 2.30 p.m. there is a preparatory training session, on Sunday Mattihas Buss (2nd Dan) from the Wittmund working group will take the exams from 10 a.m.
