Official: Naujoks exchanges Feyenoord for Excelsior

Feyenoord has officially said goodbye to Noah Naujoks. The 20-year-old midfielder has been taken over by Excelsior, where he signed a contract on Monday afternoon until mid-2025.

Naujoks has played in Feyenoord’s youth academy since he was seven. He played two official matches in the first team, but there was no perspective to grow within Arne Slot’s selection. That is why a winter transfer was the best option for all parties. It is not known what amount Excelsior transfers to the fellow townsman. Feyenoord did, however, stipulate a resale percentage for the sale.

Naujoks came up with a first reaction on the website of his new club. “The reason I chose Excelsior is because I think I can develop further at this club,” he explained. “The chance of playing minutes is greater here than at Feyenoord. Of course it was difficult to leave Feyenoord after such a long time, but this is a logical choice for my own development.”
