Nuggets – Trail Blazers Tip, Prediction & Odds

The Nuggets have just won their sixth straight game, winning 16 of their last 19 games. As I have said several times: In the end, the nuggets can actually be number 1 in this weaker conference!

What distinguishes Denver at the moment is the demonstrably most productive offense in the entire NBA – and that’s exactly why I see the upcoming duel against Portland bringing up a veritable thunderstorm of points over the ball arena.

Because although Portland has a shabby defense that practically condemns them to a sniff of playoff air at best, their own offense ranks 8th in the league with an OffRtg of 114.5.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, have been extremely productive, with six players averaging double-digit points per game – and they can now have the upper hand without Nikola Jokic.

Last Friday they were able to defeat the Clippers without their Serbian MVP and limit them to just 45 points per 48 possessions in the second round. As the game progresses, Denver tends to get better and better.

Just the opposite seems to be the case with the upcoming opponent. Because the Trail Blazers develop due to various factors from one of the strongest teams to one that simply loses the thread in the so-called “crunch time”.
