NHL | Detroit – Florida 2:3, Hronek assisted on both Detroit goals, Hertl also recorded

Hronek entered the statistics already in the second minute, when he was at the beginning of the action, which ended with the leading goal by the Swedish striker Jonatan Berggren. Thanks to a goal by Gustav Forsling and two hits by Aaron Ekblad, Florida made it 3:1, but the Red Wings dramatized the end of the match. Hronek moved the puck to Robby Fabri and he reduced the score to 2:3 with a swing shot in the 57th minute. Detroit couldn’t do more, and after the third loss in the last five games, it fell to 12th place in the Eastern Conference, one point behind Florida.

Dominik Kubalík, the second Czech who entered the match in the Red Wings jersey, did not score despite two very promising situations. In the first period, with the score 1:1, he did not hit the half-empty goal with a backhand and in the 46th minute he shot the stick past Sergej Bobrovsky.

Midway through the game, Hertl won the puck for Kevin Labanc, whose shot went just beyond the reach of goalkeeper Timo Meier, giving San Jose a 3-2 lead. Thanks to Mason McTavish’s two goals, Anaheim led the game to overtime, in which John Klingberg decided the win for the Ducks. The Sharks have lost their fourth of their last five games and are 13th in the Western Conference standings. Anaheim is still second to last despite their second straight win.
