After the year-end break, the Serie B championship resumes with the penultimate matchday of the first round. Near the halfway point, the Junior Casale they are fourth last with 10 points (5 wins and 8 losses) tied with Oleggio and Gema Montecatini, a placement that the rossoblu will try to improve on in the second part of the regular season.
Sunday at 18, an unusual day for the home calendar of the Casalesi, the JC will face the other team of Montecatinithe Bean Heron by coach Federico Barsotti who has two points more than Monferrato in the standings. Away from home, Fabo Herons has won only twice: in Varese against Campus and in Borgomanero against College.
In the last few hours, Fabo Herons has signed the wing-center born in 2003 Scott Nnabuife, 202 cm, African of origin, but an Italian citizen (and basketball player of Italian training), coming from Pallacanestro Firenze.
Says the junior coach David Cristelli: «It won’t be an easy game, but under the Christmas tree we promised each other that, from January onwards, no team will have to come and win easy in Casale, so if Montecatini wants to bring home the result, he will have to demonstrate on the field to be better and stronger than us”.
On the last day of the first round, Sunday 15 January (6.00 pm) the Juniors will be busy Legnano against i Knights currently in fifth place in the standings.
