Milwaukee Bucks vs Detroit Pistons: The Bucks beat the Pistons in the return of Antetokounmpo

LAfter missing five games, Giannis Antetokounmpo returned with the Milwaukee Bucks contributing 29 points in the 150-130 victory against the Detroit Pistons.

Two-time MVP teamed up with three-time All-Star Khris Middleton and the prolific Bucks duo were on the court together for the first time in more than a month.

Antetokounmpo had been out with a left knee injury. Middleton, who hadn’t played since Dec. 15 with a sore right knee, finished with eight points and four assists.

The Bucks had 49 points in the first period and fell two shy of the NBA record. They led Detroit by 25 after Antetokounmpo hit six shots in just over eight minutes.

Antetokounmpo did not maintain his scoring pace for the rest of the match, but it was not necessary since his teammates, such as substitute Bobby Portis signed 12 of 18 goals in the second quarter.
