Manchester United’s Current Player of the Year Dwight Yorke’s Choice

Manchester United is at a good pace at the moment. Former Red Devils striker Dwight Yorkeunveiling his version of the best player.

In the last seven matches, Man United has always won. Not only that, the Red Devils were also able to carve five clean sheets.

MU only conceded two goals in that winning streak. Meanwhile, on the front lines, there have been 17 goals scored by Erik ten Hag’s team.

Marcus Rashford gave the maximum contribution to MU in the last seven matches. The 25-year-old striker was able to record as many as eight goals.

Yorke had been watching Rashford since he was a kid. Therefore, he did not hesitate to give high praise to Rashford.

“I knew all along he was the best player at United. I saw him up close while on pro-licensing courses. I went there and saw talent I hadn’t seen in a while,” Yorke told Sportskeeda.

“Yes, he did go through a difficult period of time for him and people started writing him off. But listen to my interview; I said that he was easily the best but for some reason with the previous manager he couldn’t bring out his best. I think that was wasted -waste of time,” he added.

Overall at MU this season, Rashford played 26 times. He contributed 16 goals and six assists.
