Inter Milan Interested in Borrowing Harry Maguire from MU

Harry Maguire is still a player of interest in Europe. The Manchester United defender is reportedly being targeted by Inter Milan.

As reported by the Daily Mail, Inter are reportedly interested in using Maguire’s services. The Serie A representative wants to find a replacement for Milan Skriniar, who is reportedly going to move to Paris Saint-Germain.

Initially, Inter Milan was said to be interested in pursuing Victor Lindelof at MU. The Nerazzurri are now shifting their target to Maguire.

Inter Milan is currently competing at the top of the Italian League standings. Simone Inzaghi’s team is in second place, under Napoli.

This season, Harry Maguire has been left out of the MU center-back position. Manager Erik ten Hag often plays the duet Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane at the heart of the defence.

Maguire only played 16 times. However, half of his appearances started from the bench. Finally, Maguire played the full game when MU beat Reading in the FA Cup.

Harry Maguire is still the most expensive defender in the world, after being bought by MU from Leicester City for £80 million in 2019. His appearance has continued to be in the spotlight since joining the Red Devils.
