The second adventure between Gorgui Sy Dieng and San Antonio ended this Thursday. The Senegalese pivot, returned to the Texan franchise during the offseason, is cut to make room for Noah Vonleh who arrives from Boston. It’s not a big surprise. Dieng is used very little by Greg Popovich. He has only participated in 13 out of 38 Spurs meetings. Since leaving Wolves in 2020, the Senegalese has had a series of short, not very successful experiences. Drafted in 2013, it has gone through four franchises.
