Good news for Czech hockey. The talented Jiříček number 2 is asking for a word!

Journalist Škvor acknowledges the courage of Pilsen for giving a talented player a chance to prove himself in the extra league. “He played twenty-seven minutes in his debut match. He must have been nervous, but they probably thought that if anything, they would throw him in there with everything, so that he could go through everything. It can only heal him,” says the Sport.cz expert.

Příklep presenter Honza Homolka, chief commentator of O2 TV, noticed that Martin Straka wanted Adam Jiříček to play as much as possible. “He’s likeable,” thinks the journalist. “It was the right decision. It was 3-0 in the seventh minute, it almost didn’t matter, that’s how it will turn out, so they let him play almost all the time,” Nedorost agrees.

And young Jiříček certainly did not do badly. “The boy didn’t end up in the red if you sent him to the ice and he came back three times with a conceded goal,” points out Škvor, commenting on the discussed expansion of the junior extra league in one breath. “That’s stupid, but it’s not the only problem. To get somewhere moved, we must have a free market so that boys can transfer. It will be difficult how to compensate the clubs that brought up the players,” he adds.

Nedorost, as the manager of the national team’s 18 national team, pointed out that in addition to Adam Jiříček’s name, there are also other talented hockey players in the national team of this age category. “Stencel played very well, there are other guys who have potential. The boys are seventeen, so they have everything in front of them, but they also have a lot of work to do.”
