German individual championships in Stuttgart – German press index

The judo competition year 2023 starts with the German individual championships for women and men in the SCHARRena in Stuttgart. On January 28th and 29th, the best judoka in Germany will determine the German champions 2023.

The German Individual Championships are the first national highlight of the year and a must for every judo fan! The Württemberg Judo Association is organizing the title fights for the sixth time.

In addition to around 400 active judoka, including the top German stars, 2,000 people are expected to come to the SCHARRena in Stuttgart every day, together with their supervisors, fellow travelers and spectators. Thousands of other judo fans will be able to follow the German Individual Championships via the live stream from Sportdeutschland.TV.

The German Individual Judo Championships are the largest and most prestigious national judo event in Germany and, in addition to the judo competitions, also offer youth courses, an integration day for refugees, an accompanying trade fair, honoring the coach of the year and a supporting program.
