FC Bayern: Müller can laugh again: Bayern’s World Cup losers back in Munich Sports

It starts again for the Bayern stars!

Exactly one month and one day after the far too early return flight from Qatar and the embarrassing elimination of the preliminary round at the World Cup, the German Bayern internationals had to play again at Säbener Straße.

On the first day there was no training session, only the medical checks and the performance tests in the functional rooms of the training ground.

Loud music blared out of the window during the tests, and Thomas Müller (33) was one of the first to leave the training ground at 11:21 a.m. Mood okay, Müller grinned and greeted fans and reporters.

Almost two hours later, the other German World Cup failures followed: First Leon Goretzka (27) and Jamal Musiala (19), then Leroy Sané (26), Joshua Kimmich (27) and Serge Gnabry (27).

Nothing to see from a new goalkeeper, only Sven Ulreich (34) and number 3 Johannes Schenk (19) were there.

Some other World Cup stars like the French final losers Kingsley Coman (26), Benjamin Pavard (26) and Dayot Upamecano (24) have a little longer off.

On Wednesday morning, Julian Nagelsmann (35) will be back on the pitch for training for the first time. Then the coach has to quickly ensure that the World Cup frustration is trained away…
