Guillermo Ochoa managed to add his first point in Serie A, in another great display with Salernitana.
The Mexican goalkeeper shone again under the three posts to help his team get a 1-1 draw against Torino, on Date 17 of the Italian league.
There were three high-level saves in the first half, where Memo demonstrated his qualities in the goal, stopping balls with great reflexes with his feet and managing to stop a one-on-one against with a very timely start.
If it weren’t for the tricolor, Salernitana would have lost by at least three goals from the first 20 minutes of the match at the Arechi Stadium.
However, Torino’s attacks were constant and Antonio Sanabria was able to hit a header from the center of the area to beat Ochoa and nail the first of the match, at 35′.
Salernitana managed to tie the game at the beginning of the second half, thanks to a powerful shot from outside the area by Tonny Vilhena that entered almost right on the right post of the goal, at 48′.
In extra time Ochoa was summoned again and responded again, making another two saves, including an incredible swipe from a low shot from below, in what seemed like a called goal.
With the tie, the team of the Aztec goalkeeper reached 18 points to be placed in 14th place in the Italian Calcio, and the next Matchday will have to be measured against Atalanta.
