Nick Kyrgios talks in ‘Break Point’ about his change of attitude in life and in tennis

In the talk, Kyrgios talks about his struggle to find a “normal” life: “I thought, ‘okay, I can’t keep doing this. I have to be kinder to myself.” For my mental health, I could never be one of those players who plays all year long. I couldn’t do that. I value my family, my closest friends and Cosi (Hatzi) too much to putting tennis before that. I don’t think it’s healthy.”

I don’t really have any expectations now with my matches. I just want to go out and play and have fun, take the pressure off and then we can live a more normal life. It’s much better that way, that’s for sure.
