Bill O’Brien, close to returning to the New England Patriots

This will be his second stint with the AFC East team. The first started in 2007 as an offensive assistant. A year later he took over wide receivers and in both 2009 and 2010 he was appointed quarterbacks coach. Only in 2011 did he hold the position of offensive coordinator.

In his year as New England OC, Tom Brady passed for 5,235 yards, the most in his career at the time. Also, Rob Gronkowski set the mark for most touchdowns by a tight end in a season with 17.
