The prize money
In 2023, tennis stars will be paid record prize money at the Australian Open. A total of more than 50 million US dollars will be paid out, and the tournament winners will each receive the equivalent of around two million US dollars.
Tournament Director Craig Tiley: “It is critical to the continued success of the Australian tennis summer that the best players in the world are properly rewarded. At the Australian Open we have increased the prize money for each round from qualification to the final, with the largest increases occurring in the early rounds.”

As in the previous year, Eurosport shows the matches on the two linear television channels Eurosport 1 (free TV) and Eurosport 2 (subject to a fee).
