Australian Open 2023: Rafa Nadal ‘swiped’ a racket in the middle of the game against Draper: “The ball boy has taken it!”

Rafael Nadal lived a curious moment during the first set of the match that ended up beating Englishman Jack Draper 7-5, 2-6, 6-4 and 6-1, in 3 hours and 41 minutes in it Open the Australia.

The Spanish tennis player ‘lost’ a racket and was looking for it during one of the breaks in the set, a situation that he was commenting on, surprised and amused, with the referee.

“They have taken a racket that was not. It has the antivibrator and everything”Explain Alex Corretja in the broadcast of ‘Eurosport’.

Apparently Nadal asked for a racket to be strung, but they took the one that was fine and was already ready to play.

“The ball boy has taken her away”a linesman told Nadal.

Rafa Nadal took this ‘theft’ with a sense of humor.

“The ball boy has taken my racket”commented Nadal with a laugh, who fortunately ended up winning that first set 7-5.

In the second round of the Australian Open, the Spanish tennis player will face the American Mackenzie McDonald… and hopefully this time with all his rackets.
