Atlético Nacional hurries its options before the start of Liga I 2023, looking for alternatives after a 2022 of many notable departures that do not end up being replaced.
It is worth mentioning that for now only Francisco Da Costa, Cristian Zapata, Sergio Mosquera have arrived, while Andrés Andrade, Daniel Mantilla, Alex Mejía, Emmanuel Olivera and Yeison Guzmán said goodbye.
In the search for options, Fabián Castillo (30 years old) appeared, who currently plays for Xolos de México but would be very interested in returning to his country. There would already be an exchange of proposals but the purslane offer would still not be close to the Mexican claim.
But if it did not arrive there would be a hidden card, which would be priority before Castillo. In 2022, he played 12 games and scored three goals, is 1.72m tall and has a great mid-range shot, according to reports from Brazil. He was on the Copa Sudamericana champion squad in 2021 and was a finalist for Libertadores.
The negotiations are not closed but Autuori would prefer his compatriot over Castillo, who in any case has not been so well regarded by the fans, who are still waiting for wingers with guarantees and replacements and more renowned players for the challenge of the Libertadores.
