an NCAA game interrupted… by an Uber Eats delivery man?

So this one, we didn’t see it coming. In the middle of an NCAA game between Loyola Chicago and Duquesne, a surprise guest has granted himself the right to enter the field… and it’s not a player or a coach, but an Uber Eats delivery man who came to drop off a bag of food. Just, why?

What’s the funniest thing about it for you? That a guy ordered himself a McDo to watch the game in relaxation or that the delivery guy calmly showed up on an NCAA field when a guy was going to send a shot right next to him? No seriously, this is unheard of. The guy didn’t realize it was playing next to him, the image is magic.

So, who got a little menu delivered? Undoubtedly not the referee who takes two seconds to capture that a Maxi Best-Of has just appeared on the field. The game is not disturbed, but the triplet of game masters decides to interrupt the game the time to indicate to this dear gentleman that the ground is not considered as a delivery or catering area.

We set up one anyway for the quality of service of the delivery person, it is not common to take his job so much to heart. On the other hand, he is still advised to go immediately to consult an ophthalmologist just in case.

After a few minutes, what appeared to be the WTF image of the day instead gives way to suspicions of a somewhat lame joke: the action would be that of a Duquesne student who wanted to make the buzz. It would be quite logical, because unless you know the bouncer well, it’s complicated to access the field of a university match between big faculties. Well, not too fine as a humor if it’s true, but the video is still… very funny.
