Sidibé, 2.03 m tall, joins to reinforce the position of five. The player arrives from Peñarol of the National Basketball League of Argentina, a team for which he finished in September and with which he ended his stay before the Christmas holidays.

The player has already gone through the LEB Oro in the 2019-2020 season in the ranks of Melilla Baloncesto with 23 games played and an average per game of 20:24 minutes on the court, 10.1 points, 71.9% effectiveness in the free kick, 6.6 rebounds and a PIR of 12.3.

He also played with Alicante in LEB Plata in the 2017-2018 campaign, staying on the brink of promotion to LEB Oro. In that season, Sidibé played a total of 64 games (28 in the regular season and 13 in the play-offs), playing an average of 21:39 minutes per game, and averages of 10.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and a PIR of 13.4. In 2018-2019 he played in the Portuguese Basquetebol do Sport Clube Lusitânia, becoming the MVP of the competition with 16.9 points and 13.1 rebounds.
And after passing through Melilla, he ended up in the French second division with ALM Évreux Basket where he was the top rebounder in the category, and Union Tours Métropole Basket. Amadou Sidibé is also part of the Ivory Coast senior team.

Força Lleida sports director Joaquín Prado says that Sidibé fits perfectly into the team’s style of play. He “has very good physical and athletic capacity, and to defend any inside player, both five and four.” In addition, Prado highlights his game in attack, magnificent shot from 4-5 meters, dynamism, ability to run, continuations in the direct block… “He can complete the game of Carrera, Vučetić and Nze very well”. Prado also points out that he knows the league after his time in Melilla and hopes that his ability to adapt will be optimal.
