SPORTS. The players of the Saint-Anselme high school Lynx men’s basketball team took possession of their new uniforms on November 30th.
It was at the instigation of Thomas Boileau, a 4-year-olde secondary and team member who wanted to have new uniforms for his team, that this project came true.
Thomas was bold in presenting his handmade drawings to the management. Given the quality of his work and his motivation, the management gave the green light and the student was supported by Frédérique Provencher, recreation technician, in the realization of his project.
Before sending the uniforms to manufacture, all the athletes were consulted in order to choose the uniform that would best represent the whole team.
The youth basketball team will wear this new uniform for the season that begins in the Juvenile D4 N3 category of the RSEQ, including teams from the Quebec and Chaudière-Appalaches regions. The 15-game schedule kicked off in November and will run through March, with the finals scheduled for April.
