Trinidad Vagliengo closes the season playing in Rosario

Trinidad Vagliengo will play in the city of Rosario, province of Santa Fe, the 6th National Tournament corresponding to the Argentine Circuit for Minors 2022, in what will be the last competition of the tennis player from San Juan in that category, since it is already in her plans to start playing tournaments professionals in 2023.

Trinidad, whose goal is to finish in the national top ten, commented: “I will play at Palos Verdes Country in Rosario. My first match is against Martina Frijo, from Santa Fe, in the first round. If I make it through that matchup, I would play the winner of Milagros Guerrero and Camila Romero.

This is the last national and minor tournament in my career. Next year I start with professional tournaments. I share this trip with my dad, one of the few trips I share with him, because normally I did the other trips alone.

I want to thank the Sports Secretariat, who helped me a lot with this whole tour, including Buenos Aires. The tournament is played from Monday to Saturday. Yesterday the qualy was played; I play directly the main draw and that is why I start today.

Regarding my preparation work in San Juan, I continue training at the Lawn Tennis with Guillermo Carry, two hours a day. After this tournament I will continue working until December 21st. Then I’m going to take vacations from December 27 to January 15, where I’ll start the preseason thinking about next year’s calendar,” Vagliengo said.
