Trail, badminton, shooting(s): discover the main sporting events to follow this weekend in Yonne

Most of the championships are taking a break, the Venoy cyclo-cross which was scheduled for Sunday is cancelled, some are playing away (AJA, Sens Volley 89 and their reserve teams…)… Nevertheless, there remains some sports competitions to follow in Yonne this weekend of December 17 and 18, 2022. Here is a selection.

TRAILThe Vélo Massif Morvan organizes Saturday the third edition of the TrailOduc and the canicross of Quarré-les-Tombes. On the program, two races of 9 and 17 km. The start will be given at 1:30 p.m. on the town square. The canicross will start at 1 p.m. for 8.9 km. The event is part this year of a new challenge “Trail Auxois Morvan”, which also includes the Trail of old Semur, in Semur-en-Auxois (Côte-d’Or) which will take place on January 14. BADMINTONThe twentieth edition of the Stade Auxerrois Badminton Christmas tournament will take place on Saturday and Sunday at the René-Yves-Aubin sports complex. On the program on Saturday: men’s singles, women’s singles, mixed doubles; and Sunday: men’s doubles, women’s doubles.

SPORTIVE SHOOTThe 9th round of the Coupe de l’Yonne began on Friday 16 December and continues on the Chambériote facilities, in Chamvres, on Saturday (from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., end of shooting) then Sunday (from 9 a.m. to noon, end of shooting).

TIR A L’ARCThe last archery competition of December takes place in Brienon-sur-Armançon on Saturday and Sunday. About 140 archers from Yonne and neighboring departments have an appointment at the gymnasium of the Cousteau college. This competition is selective for the French FFTA, Para-archers and Adapted Sport championships. For young people, this is the last selective event for the departmental championships in January. The weekend will begin with a meeting bringing together around 40 young people, from U11 (chick) to U18 (youngest) at 15m, Saturday from 1:30 p.m.
