In the last few hours, the shortlists for the Pehuen Awards were confirmed, which, with the organization of the IFES Educational Group and the Circle of Sports Journalists of Neuquén, will take place at the facilities of Casino Magic, JJ Lastra 4005 on a date to be confirmed. In principle, the party was going to take place on Wednesday the 21st, but it became known in recent days that the Olimpia Awards will be delivered on that date in Buenos Aires, so it is possible that the provincial delivery is brought forward to Tuesday the 20th or deferred to Thursday the 22nd; taking into account that some ternados from Neuquén with certain possibilities of winning the highest award will participate in the national ceremony.
This year 30 disciplines will be awardedwhere the respective shortlists have already been nominated, and there will be special mentions to Inka XV (rugby), Cauquenes de Alumine (rafting), Pacífico (basketball), Independiente (hockey) and Confluencia (soccer) and the revelation will also be chosen, which on this occasion will have four applicants: the boxer Victoria Laval, the athlete Camila Salvucci, the skater Juan Cruz Roldán and the tennis player Bautista Woilin.
After two years of the pandemic, there are several athletes who appear with the possibility of winning the highest statuette. The representatives from Neuquén have had international participation, such as the World Cup, the Odesur Games and several South American Games, with positive results; and also the presence of Victoria Rodríguez López in the Winter Olympics.
