On Wednesday, the Mazel gymnasium in Monistrol-sur-Loire hosted the 3×3 academic basketball championships for general high schools. The Léonard-de-Vinci high school won the day, among girls and boys.
A booming discipline, 3×3 basketball is highlighted this year in Haute-Loire. On Wednesday, the Mazel gymnasium hosted the finals of the Clermont Academy. In March 2023, this same gymnasium will be the scene of the French championships for vocational high schools.
After winning the departmental championships, the basketball players of Léonard-de-Vinci high school in Monistrol confirmed during the academic championships. Champions, the girls and boys of Mazel will represent the academy of Clermont at the inter-academic championships on January 4 at the academy of Grenoble. The French championships are scheduled for February in Ajaccio.
