The Municipal Sports Institute (Imdeco) starts this weekend the competition calendar for the XXXVIII Municipal Sports Games 2022-23, organized in collaboration with the Sports Federations.
The modalities of basketball, futsal and volleyball will begin next Saturday, December 17, while the rest of the sports modalities (up to a total of 13) will begin successively according to their respective calendars. The Municipal Sports Games will run until May 2023.
The sports modalities that are going to be developed are chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, handball, futsal, rhythmic gymnastics, judo, swimming, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis and volleyball, in the categories from prebenjamín to senior.
Participation is broken down as follows:
In the modality of individual sports, 44 teams have registered (Chess (1), Athletics (10), Badminton (3), Rhythmic Gymnastics (21), Judo (3), Swimming (5) and Taekwondo (1).
In the modality of collective sports, 348 teams have registered (Basketball (108), Handball (16), Futsal (112), Tennis (20), Table Tennis (6) and Volleyball (86).
The entities in charge of the organization and arbitration will be the Andalusian federations of each sport modality offered.
