The mayor of Vigo, Abel Caballero, participated yesterday in the delivery of the scholarships for the development of the careers of 45 high-level athletes in different disciplines: sailing, triathlon, motorcycling, adapted tennis, judo, squash, swimming, athletics, athletics adapted, badminton, taekwondo, fencing, trampoline gymnastics and orienteering. Caballero recalled the 2 million euros earmarked for sports in the city, which are added to the financing of sports facilities, free use of soccer fields or subsidies for sports halls.
