The caste brought out women’s basketball

With the year about to end, it is time to make a cash cut in which to analyze what was done well at the sporting level, that being objective, there were many things for Aguascalientes, which continues to advance by leaps and bounds, both in infrastructure and in results in many disciplines.
But if there is a sport that should be recognized for its achievements, it is women’s basketball, which has grown tired of paying good dividends with young people from all categories triumphing in every tournament they participate in. Throughout the year several national titles were achieved for the state, winning medals in national competitions, such as the CONADE Games, or shining in out-of-state tournaments.
Alejandro Martínez was one of the pillars of this evolution, participating in many women’s basketball projects where he once again stood out with athletes participating in national teams in the 3×3 modality. Players like Laura Plasencia, Rebeca Colunga, Paulina Macías and Patricia Serna were the players who won gold at the CONADE Games and now they will be looking for this 2023 to maintain that level that will lead them to achieve more joy.
Also, both the Lobas de Aguascalientes and the Panteras de Aguascalientes more than fulfilled their participation in the two professional leagues that are held in women’s basketball. Both teams formed competitive rosters that were close to fighting for a title and will surely return with renewed energy towards 2023, which looks like a year of revenge.
To close with this outstanding work, the Borregas from the Tecnológico de Monterrey Campus Aguascalientes have emerged as the best university team in the Bajío region, winning all the games of their season in the ABE League so far. Thanks to the joint work of their coach Atzi Vázquez, together with each player, the Borregas are dominant on the court and raise their hands to get promoted this 2023. Thus, local women’s basketball continues to grow and continues with that prominence it has several years happening, hoping that this 2023 will bring many more medals and championships.
