The last matches of the year have been played in the Belgian league. So it’s time to take stock and see how the clubs fared in 2022.
If an assessment is made of all the matches played in the Pro League in 2022, we see that Union has done the best. The people from Brussels collected no less than 69 points.
One point behind is the current leader of the competition, KRC Genk. Club Brugge, on the other hand, must be satisfied with third place, with 66 points. ‘Big challenger’ Antwerp then collected 62.
The record champion — Anderlecht — closes the calendar year with 49 points in the Pro League. They still have to tolerate AA Gent and Sint-Truiden. The seventh place of the Purple & White is mainly due to the first round of this season.
