On the 4th, 50 teams of badminton clubs in Hamyang, 100 people participated, a meeting of communication and friendship
The Hamyang-gun Sports Association announced that the 19th Hamyang-gun Association President’s Badminton Competition was held on the 4th at the gymnasium of Hamyang Middle School, and the competition was successfully completed amidst the favorable response of many club members.
This competition, which was prepared to revitalize and expand the base of Hamyang-gun badminton and enjoy sports for a healthy life of club members, was hosted and supervised by the Hamyang-gun Badminton Association (Chairman Jang Gu-hyeon), sponsored by Hamyang-gun and Hamyang-gun Sports Association, and more than 100 club members participated. It was a valuable time to show off your honed skills and build friendships.
The competition was divided into men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles by age group, and was held as a tournament.
At the opening ceremony held prior to the match, the opening declaration was followed by the opening speech, Jang Gu-hyeon, president of the Badminton Association, and congratulatory remarks by Hamyang County Governor, Jin Byeong-yeong.
Jang Gu-hyeon, head of the Hamyang-gun Badminton Association, said in the history of the event, “I hope that all players will be able to communicate and enjoy the harmony, and I hope that they will show off their accumulated skills and play a hot game.”

In response, Chung Soon-ok, acting president of the Hamyang-gun Sports Council, said, “First of all, congratulations on the opening of the tournament, and the passionate appearance of badminton club members was so impressive.”
