Riots after France and Morocco wins – World Cup 2022 in Qatar

Paris/Brussels – France’s victories over England and Morocco’s victory over Portugal in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar sparked riots in Paris and Brussels on Saturday night. In Paris, Moroccan and French fans met the police on the Champs Elysées, who also used tear gas in the clashes. First, Moroccan supporters flocked to the Parisian boulevard after their team’s victory, followed by fans of the Blues after France’s victory.
