Denver Nuggets on the Verge of Sweeping Los Angeles Lakers in Playoff Series

The playoff games follow one another and are similar for the Los Angeles Lakers, who let another lead slip by more than ten points before losing to the Denver Nuggets, defending champions, this time by a score of 112 to 105 .

Denver will have the opportunity to complete the sweep. If Nikola Jokic and his teammates win Game 4 on Saturday (8:30 p.m.), they will have given the Lakers the same treatment as during the 2023 series, in the West final.

In fact, the Lakers have lost each of their last eleven games against the defending champions in the NBA.

LeBron James and his gang will face elimination in front of their fans at the Crypto.com Arena.

True to form, Jokic led the charge for the Nuggets in flirting with the hat-trick; he had 24 points, 15 rebounds and nine assists.

Aaron Gordon and Canadian Jamal Murray also had a strong game, with 29 and 22 points respectively.

The third quarter has not been kind to LA during this series. Once again, Darvin Ham’s team saw their rivals turn the tide, dominating 34-22 to take an eight-point lead heading into the final period.

Davis amassed 31 points, while James provided 26. The Lakers’ cruel lack of three-point efficiency (5 in 27), however, ultimately ended their chances of bothering the Nuggets down the stretch.
